VALDOBBIADENE PROSECCO SUPERIORE DOCG
PRODUCTION AREA
The grapes are grown on the sun-bathed slopes of the hills of Valdobbiadene, in the villages of Saccol, S. Stefano, S. Pietro di Barbozza around the famous area of Cartizze. Grape variety: Glera.
TECHNOLOGY
The base wine is made through an accurate vinification off the skins with soft pressing, must cleaning through refrigeration and thermo-conditioned fermentation with the addition of our select yeasts.
The foam is removed in a large container (autoclave) at low temperature in a rather short period of time (20 - 25 days) not to reduce the fragrance and flavour typical of this product.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS
Perlage: tiny and continuous.
Colour: light straw yellow.
Bouquet: elegant, clean-cut, and fruity for the typical aroma.
Taste: round, pleasantly slightly acid, harmonious.
