ORGANIC APPLE AND CARROT

Most apples grown in Italy come from Veneto and from Trentino. Organic production in Veneto is, in terms of cultivated area, one of the largest in Italy. The organic farms in Trentino are practically monoculture (apples and small fruit). Organic apples are very tasty and crunchy: quality fruit which ripens without the use of herbicides, phytochemicals and chemical fertilisers. Carrot juice has a major rebalancing effect on the intestinal flora, ideal for example after prolonged use of antibiotics or chemical drugs. It is also a powerful source of mineral salts and an ally in cases of ulcers and gastritis. One apple contains, in perfect equilibrium, water, fibre, protein, sugars and mineral salts. This fruit is capable of regulating bowel function. The apple acts by lowering cholesterol and sugar levels in the blood and can be eaten by diabetics and those who suffer from cardio-circulatory problems.
