Aurie just wanted to wait a little longer. Only in late autumn, when winter’s chill begins to be felt, are the Petit Manseng grapes ready to be made into a unique, delightfully sweet wine.
Aurie is for open minds and special occasions – delicate, eclectic, unconventional, golden.

TASTING NOTES: Complex fragrance with notes of quince and honey, dried apricots and mango. This wine surprises the palate with a unique interplay of sweetness and acidity.
TERROIR: Warm, calcareous and sandy soils in San Paolo (350-400m.a.s.l.)
AGE OF THE VINES: ca. 10 years
HARVEST: Late harvest at around end of November to beginning of December
VINIFICATION: Slow fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel, natural stop of fermentation by cooling. Maturation for 12 months on fine yeast
STAIRING POTENTIAL: up to 5 years
