PINOT GRIGIO Friuli Grave DOC
In the stony soils of Tauriano di Spilimbergo, for 15-20 years the roots of the vineyards that produce today the Borgo Magredo Pinot Grigio sink. Grown with Guyot, the vines have a maximum yield of 75 quintals per hectare, so as to produce fruits with intense and defined flavors.
After the harvest, the grapes are de-stemmed and pressed. Immediately separate the skins from the musts, the latter are sent to vinification in temperature-controlled steel containers.
After fermentation, the wine is left to refine on yeasts with frequent batonnage for about 4 months, before being bottled.
In the glass the wine shows a straw yellow of good intensity.
The aromas it releases are broad and pronounced, with intense hints of apple and ripe pear. In the mouth it is full and savory, harmonious and well balanced between the body and a pleasant acidity.
Easy to match, it wins over the absolute elegance of drinking.
Serve at a temperature around 10 ° -12 ° C, in large glasses.
