The story of the Bava family begins in Cocconato, a town perched on the hills of Monferrato Asti.

The Bava family has cultivated vineyards in this area since 1600 and in 1911 built its first winery here.

Since the creation of the Cocconato winery, more than one hundred harvests have now passed and six generations have alternated. The best Barbera Bava, over time, have made themselves known in many countries around the world thanks to the high quality of this production.
