Fattoria Svetoni, founded in the early 19th century in Montepulciano as "Leopoldina", an "ideal" farm built from the late 1700s until the mid-1800s and commissioned by Pietro Leopoldo, Grand Duke of Tuscany, has been producing wines since 1865.
 
Today the Svetoni farm extends over 26 hectares, including 20 hectares of vineyards, at an altitude of 300 - 350 meters. above sea level, on the Fattoria Svetoni, acquired in 2017 by Podere Rubino, produces Chianti Colli Senesi, Rosso di Montepulciano and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano with the historic brands "Fattoria Svetoni".
