Ledaig is a 18 year old, peated single malt produced in the only distillery on the Isle of Mull, off the Western coast of Scotland, which was established in 1789 and is one of the oldest distilleries still running.
Created from malted barley dried in peat smoke to ensure an intense, smoky and flavoursome character, the naturally peat infused water source adds an additional element of depth to Ledaig’s final profile.
Maturation takes place on the mainland within isolated ancient vaults in central Scotland which is an area known for its consistent temperatures. The full ten years in superior oak wood guarantees an idyllic balance of peat, smoke and wood.
