ORGANIC PEACH

Our peaches mainly come from two regions: Emilia Romagna and Piedmont. The peach is a summer fruit, sweet, vitamin-rich and low in calories. It contains a high percentage of water, about 90%, and it has trace elements such as iron and potassium, vitamin C and pro vitamin A. It is suitable as an energy snack to get through the day. The peach contains carotenoids, essential for the production of melanin, a substance that helps us tan and protects us from the sun’s rays. What’s more, beta-carotene is anti-carcinogenic, it improves our eyesight, strengthens our bones and teeth, boosts our immune defences against respiratory infections, against the toxic elements in polluted air and against the harmful effects of smoking. With its juicy, sweet taste, it is the ideal fruit for those who are on a diet, as it helps get rid of excess liquids by stimulating the intestine.
