Vinification: The grapes harvested in small boxes are transported to the cellar for destemming and the double manual selection of the individual grapes, soft pressing and maceration-fermentation for 25 days. Malolactic fermentation and aging in French and American oak barrels for 24 months.

Sensory Characteristics: garnet red in color with an intense and persistent aroma, spicy (tobacco and woody notes) with hints of liquorice, fruity (ripe fruit and alcohol), tendency to ethereal. Full-bodied wine, soft, balanced, intense and persistent. Ready to be drunk immediately, but also withstands long aging.

Pairings: excellent with rich first courses, with red meats and with medium and long matured cheeses.
