Designation of origin
Refosco is undoubtedly the most widespread red berry native in Friuli. Austere and elegant, it gives life to wines of great charm and elegance. Full-bodied and austere, it does not fear comparisons with the most common international varieties.

TRAINING SYSTEM: Sylvoz
VINIFICATION: the grapes, harvested towards the middle of September, are de-stemmed and placed in the wine-makers for 6 days. After soft pressing, the wine completes alcoholic fermentation and malolactic fermentation. A part of the mass is refined in steel, and a part in tonneau for about two months. The wine is then assembled and bottled.
COLOR: Ruby red tending to violet.
AROMA: Typically wild, intense, reminiscent of raspberry and wild blackberry. It is distinguished by the particular alcoholic note.
TASTE: In the mouth it recalls wild berries, fig and cloves. Robust and full-bodied with excellent elegance.
SERVICE: Serve at a temperature around 18 ° C, in large glasses.
PAIRINGS: Excellent with fatty meats, with pork and game.
