Castello di Gussago POMARO CURTEFRANCA - DOC
Set on a picturesque hill at the foot of the Barbisone hill, Podere Pomaro is located.
The vines planted on the ground, but rich in skeleton, are arranged to the south to fully receive the beneficial effects of the sun.
A harmonious composition of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Carmenère varieties. The harvest, carried out by hand, is often carried out in advanced autumn.
During fermentation there is a long maceration in contact with the skins; after racking, the wine is aged in oak barrels for about 12 months, followed by a further refinement in the bottle for a few months.
TASTE: HOT, SUADENT AND GOOD STRUCTURE. SWEET TANNICITY APPRECIATED.

GRADATION: 14.50% VOL.
GRAPES: MERLOT (30%), CABERNET SAUVIGNON AND CABERNET FRANC (50%), CABERNET CARMENÉRE (20%).
DRY RESIDUAL: 32-35 G / L
COLOR load and impenetrable, with shades of ruby red.
PERFUME complex and evolved, evident notes of ripe fruit such as raspberry, blackberry and cherry. Delicate spicy notes, with pleasant sensations of licorice and vanilla.
PAIRINGS recommended with red meat dishes, especially roasts and game, medium and good cheeses.
