Toscoforte Sangiovese

The Guicciardini for centuries have cultivated Sangiovese (the undiscussedking of Tuscan viticulture) on the sunny hills of Castello di Poppiano.

Grape Varieties:	Sangiovese 100%
Wine Making:	fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature of 27-28°C, 15-18 days maceration.
Maturing and Aging:	in vats, then 12 months in French oak barriques (Allier) and in bottle for at least 3 months.
Alcohol:	13,5 – 14,5 % Vol.
Tasting Notes:	ruby color of great intensity, complex aromas of undergrowth red fruits, smooth and robust body which well sustained by sweets tannins and balanced alcohol. Long, tasty finish.
